Year nine background exploration of self portraits in colour.
Exploration of the human face in colour. Year nines explored the human face prior to their large canvas portraits. Colour was the focus.
Year seven - art folios
Year seven art folios focusing on Lettering, space, colour, tone and line with shape.
Colour, pattern finished the look.

3 part animal - lead pencil.
Year nine students were asked to create a new animal. Research and reconstruct three animals that could be linked together to create a new creature. To finish their animal they were only allowed to use lead pencil. The finish was Focusing on tone and texture.
First one finished..... Not easy!
IMovies - Year Seven elements of ART.
Microscope ART - Year eight.
Year eight students used the USB microscopes connected to their laptops. Photographed images around the classroom, outside and themselves. Some photos where later manipulated in Photoshop only using the filters.

Homage to Minjae lee
Year nine art exploring Minjae lees faces, as inspiration. Students used any medium they wanted to use. Paints, inks, gel pens, pencils, felt tips. Some examples.....
Silhouette self portrait with stencil spray art canvas
Students explore using their bodies as a starting point. Outlined their torso, explored designs utilising shapes. Tattooing, tribal arts or just plain patterns. Using the craft knife they draw their designs and played with negative and positive shapes.
The canvas background is a collaboration of students using spray cans and some stencilling.
