Marble jigsaw pieces finished

Year eight art, made large pieces of jigsaw puzzles. Each piece had coloured pencil drawings of marbles. We looked at shapes, reflection and tone while focusing on colour.

CHALK PASTELS year 8. 2013

Semester two art class was a real surprise In talent and dedication. This project we looked at animal eyes.  Looked at the eye as shapes, colours, tone with texture encasing our designs. 

Here are our finished products, most students were surprised with their hard work and finish of their work.

Year six students from our feeder schools, who had a creative interest In the visual arts were invited to our school to undertake the Gates program. Friday mornings was dedicated to creating art works, using Louis Nevelson's work as inspiration. Here are our results....
