Homage to Minjae lee

Year nine art exploring Minjae lees faces, as inspiration. Students used any medium they wanted to use. Paints, inks, gel pens, pencils, felt tips. Some examples.....

Silhouette self portrait with stencil spray art canvas

Students explore using their bodies as a starting point. Outlined their torso, explored designs utilising shapes. Tattooing, tribal arts or just plain patterns. Using the craft knife they draw their designs and played with negative and positive shapes.
The canvas background is a collaboration of students using spray cans and some stencilling.
